Embossed Birthday Card

Supplies:

• ScrapBoss® Starter Set
• ScrapBoss™ 12" x 12" Stencil Themed Festive
• ScrapBoss™ 12" x 12" Stencil Page Layout Dreamy
• Comfort Grip™ Micro-Tip® Scissors
• 12"/30 cm Euro Personal Paper Trimmer

• Cardstock paper - yellow, blue, green, white, light yellow
• Decorator's Chalk - blue, yellow, green
• Ribbon - blue
• Adhesives - tape runner

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of yellow cardstock to measure 5 1/2" X 11". Fold in half and score to create a 5 1/2" square card. Insert front flap of card between stencils and emboss stars, circles and asterisk shapes randomly on front of card. Remove from stencils.
2. Lightly chalk along edges of card and over embossed areas.
3. Emboss cupcake base shape onto white cardstock, frosting shape onto blue cardstock, candle shape onto green cardstock and flame shape onto light yellow cardstock. Trim all shapes out. Assemble cupcake onto front flap of card and adhere.
4. Cut a strip of blue cardstock to measure 1 3/4" X 5 1/2". Cut a piece of green cardstock to measure 1 1/2" X 5 1/2". Adhere green strip to blue strip.
5. Cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 1" X 5 1/2". Insert this piece of cardstock between Dreamy stencil set. Emboss circles (border) onto this piece. Remove from stencils. Lightly chalk yellow, blue and green onto random circles. Adhere to center of green strip. Adhere all strips to front flap of card.
6. Cut a piece of blue ribbon to measure 14". Wrap around front flap of card and tie in knot in front. Trim ends as desired.
