Pink Cupcake Birthday Gift Bag Project

- Self-Healing Craft Mat 9" x 12"
- Hand Punch - 1/8" Circle
- ShapeCutter™ Tool
- ShapeTemplate™ Tool - Celebration-1 w/Bubbles Border
- Cardstocks - white, tan, cream, yellow, green, lilac
- Craft fibers
- Pink gift bag
- Eyelets - 4 assorted colors
- Eyelet applicator tool
- Hammer
- Decorating Chalks
- Craft Bond Glue
Instructions:
- Using ShapeCutter with Celebration ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut one balloon from each of the following colors: yellow, green and purple. Also cut one cupcake base and one candle from tan cardstock. Cut frosting shape from tan, and flame shape from yellow. Apply chalks to all pieces according to photo.
- Using photo stickers, assemble and adhere candle to a piece of white cardstock. Tear cardstock around candle to create a rectangle that measures approximately 4" X 5-1/2". Using pink chalk, chalk around torn edges of white torn piece.
- Using hand punch, punch one hole in each corner of torn piece. Insert eyelet into hole. Flip over onto craft mat. Insert eyelet applicator tool into backside of eyelet. Tap gently 2 - 3 times until eyelet begins to curl. Set applicator tool aside and tap hammer gently 1 - 2 more times directly onto eyelet to finish. Repeat for remaining eyelets.
- Using photo stickers, adhere torn section to lower right corner of bag front.
- Also adhere balloons in a bunch in upper left corner of bag front.
- Cut 3 strands of craft fiber to measure 8". Using craft glue, adhere one fiber to backside of each balloon for balloon string.
- Cut an extra piece of fiber to measure about 4". Gather balloon strings and tie this piece into a bow around strings. Trim string ends as desired.
