Benefit:

A fun way to learn basic geometric shapes and develop depth perception (The ability to perceive spatial relationships, especially distance between objects, in 3D.)

Activity:

Each student will:

• Use ShapeCutter/Template™ to cut shapes in 3 different-colored sheets of paper.
• Score a line 1/2" in from top edge of each sheet, fold.
• Stack sheets as desired, staple on scored section.

Ideas:

Create an entire sheet of the same shape, only in different sizes.
