- Construction Paper - for background
- Construction Paper Scraps - for mosaic pieces
- Corsage Pin - for lifting and manipulating paper mosaic pieces
- Compass

Activity:
Each student will:
- Lightly draw mosque unto background paper.
- Cut and or punch somewhat uniform pieces of paper from construction paper - one color at a time. Beginning in the middle of the design, and working out, apply and spread glue over a small area of the background paper. Use pin to arrange paper pieces over glued area. Leave small background spaces showing between the glued paper pieces.
- Continue gluing different colored paper pieces until the design is completed.
