Rudolph Popsicle Stick Ornament
Supplies:
- Ripple Paper Edgers
- Hand Punch - 1/4" Circle
- Pre-School Scissors
- Miniature Popsicle craft sticks
- Red and green construction paper
- Red yarn
- Red pom-pom
- Wiggle eyes
- Glue

Benefit:
Promotes manual dexterity through cutting and gluing a holiday craft.
Activity:
Each student will:
- Glue three miniature Popsicle craft sticks into an A shape. Allow to dry.
- Turn A upside down and glue red pom-pom at triangular tip as Rudolph's nose.
- Glue two wiggle eyes above nose.
- Use FISKARS® Paper Edgers Ripple Long to cut out three holly branches from green construction paper. Glue holly branches above eyes. Punch three red berries from construction paper with FISKARS 1/4" Circle Hand Punch. Glue berries onto holly leaves.
- Use FISKARS® Kids Scissors to cut section of red yarn. Tie yarn into bow and glue to back of Rudolph's head.
Ideas:
Make other Popsicle stick ornaments: snowflakes, gingerbread houses, crosses, etc. Decorate class tree with handcrafted ornaments.
Research and create a class Reindeer Trivia game to play.
Decorate teachers' mailboxes with ornaments as a holiday surprise gift.
Allow students to take home ornaments as a holiday gift for family member.
