Benefit:
Develop an awareness of shape and space and explore the relationship between positive and negative space.
Activity:
Each student will:
- Select one color of paper and cut in half. Use ShapeCutterª/Template to cut stars from one half of paper.
- Use Hand Punch to punch stars on half sheet.
- Glue the half sheet to a full sheet of contrasting paper.
- Arrange cut stars and punches on the opposite side of the full sheet in the same order as they were cut, glue.
Ideas:
Fold project in half to create a card.
Put pictures in each star and journal about the brightest people in your life.
