There’s a simple insurance policy against drought right above your head: A 1,000 square foot (93 m2) roof in an area that receives as little as 20 inches (51cm) of rain annually can shed 12,000 gallons or 45,425 litres of fresh, free water each year. What’s more, rainwater is healthier for plants than treated “city water”, since it contains far less chlorine and salt. Even better, capturing rainwater from a rooftop prevents the erosion and water quality problems associated with heavy run-off. -

The rigorous approval process includes evaluation by a team of scientists who assess each product in the laboratory, as well as a panel of people with moderate to severe arthritis who put the products to practical use.
