Mini Witches’ Cauldron Pinata

Cut a cauldron shape out of cardboard with scissors and hot glue the foundation of the pinata together to make your hollow shape. Use the 1” punch from the Party Décor to punch circles from tissue paper and metallic cardstock (tip: sandwich the tissue paper between pieces of regular black paper to avoid jamming the punch). Glue layers of punched circles onto the pinata foundation, starting at the bottom and working up to the top. Curl ribbon to create ‘witches’ brew’ at top. Other pinata shape ideas: a triangle candy corn, pumpkin or ghost.

Prettiest Pumpkins

Use Mod-Podge and confetti punched from paper or crepe paper to cover parts of your pumpkins. You can create a ‘dipped’ effect by applying heavily at the bottom and more sparsely around the top. Other elegant pumpkin décor ideas: use leftover punched 1” circles from the pinata and Mod-Podge to the pumpkin, further embellish with push pins, Posca markers and chunky glitter.

Trick or trimming

Make a mini triangle banner using the smallest triangle shape from the Banner Creation set. Use the 1/8” hole punch at the tops of the triangles and string together.
To make a batty banner, cut out bat shapes from cardstock. Tip: the 1” circle punch makes a great bat head and is amazing for cutting the wings out for your bats. Glue the bat head to the body to make each bat. Lay half of your bats, spaced evenly, face-down on a flat surface and place a string or yarn over the bats from one wind to the other. Hot glue an additional bat to the back of each, face-up, to sandwich the string between two bats.
