Father’s Day is all about showing your appreciation for the special guys in your life, and nothing says ‘thanks for being you’ like a homemade gift. Fiskars’ tools will help you create the most memorable keepsakes with a few, easy-to-find craft supplies and a whole lot of love.

Wrap it with care

To create an eye-catching band, cut a strip of wrapping paper the length of the gift box perimeter and use the 1” hole punch from the Kids party Décor Set to make holes. Wrap crepe paper around the box with the punched strip of paper over it. Finish with curled ribbon using the Gift Wrapping Set, a handmade tag, and decorate with stamps.

Write his story

Help Dad’s #1 fans write their thoughts in a fun, keepsake book. First, cut cardstock into rectangles and trim with the corner punch from the Gift Wrapping Set. Use the 1/8” hole punch from the Gift Wrapping Set to make two holes for binding. Use Fiskars Amplify™ Scissors to cut a piece of leather or thick cardstock for a cover and cut a piece of cardboard for the back. String together with leather cording or yarn and tie a bow on top.

Find a small wooden box at the craft store or recycle a small gift box. Make a prize ribbon by folding a piece of cardstock accordion-style every .5”. Use the 1” punch from the Kids Party Décor Set to cut out 2 circles for the front and back and hot glue to secure together. Make coupon wooden coins to store inside of the box with 1.5” wooden slices and decorate with stamps.
