Choose your plants based on available growing places
The right light conditions differ between plants. If the conditions you have available in your home are not ideal, the plant will not thrive, and growth will be spindly.
Repot your plant after bringing it home
After buying a new plant, it’s recommended to plant it into a new, bigger pot with fresh soil.

Watering needs vary around the year – make sure you don’t overwater your plant
Always check the soil before watering. If it’s still moist, no watering is needed. Too much watering will suffocate the plant. You can also use weight of the pot as an indicator – dry soil is lighter in weight.

Fertiliser provides your plant with nutrients
Giving fertiliser is important, as there are nutrients the plants need, that it won't get from only water. Fertiliser should be given only during growth season (March – October) and not during winter (November–February) when the plants are resting.

Pamper your plants with fine mist

Make your plants thrive by pruning them regularly
Pruning helps your plant become fuller while removing dry and diseased parts keeps your plant healthy. Only prune with clean, sharp tools, so you won’t damage the plant tissue or expose it to bacteria. You can nurture pruned cuttings from plants by rooting them in a glass of water. Collect cuttings throughout the growth season.
