Throw A Fireside Party with Roasted Marshmallows and S'mores

Step 1: Locate wood and begin splitting. You need good firewood to get a roaring fire going. Use the Fiskars® X27 Super Splitting Axe to chop your logs into pieces and start forming a wood pile. Be sure to use safety glasses for this part of the project. Once the wood is assembled, place logs in the pit and light the fire. Step 2: Prep for you campfire party. To host a great backyard bash, you need a place for everyone to gather and spend time telling campfire stories! Place some large tree stumps around the fire pit for authentic fireside seating. Top with blankets or the cushions we made earlier for a more comfortable feel.

Step 3: Make some s'mores sticks. For everybody's favorite fireside treat you will need long sticks, between 2' to 3', to hang over the fire. Use the Fiskars® PowerGear2™ Lopper to cut down your branches and the Fiskars® PowerGear2™ Pruner to remove any small twigs on the larger branch.

Step 4: Roast some marshmallows. Grab your prepped s'mores sticks and place a marshmallow on the end. Hold over the fire until golden brown and then assemble between the graham crackers and chocolate pieces for this classic summertime snack. For something even sweeter, try substituting the chocolate pieces for a peanut butter cup, or swapping in chocolate or cinnamon graham crackers to replace the original.
