1. Use the ProCision™ Rotary Bypass Trimmer to cut cardstock to make pages and dividers. With this tool, several sheets can be cut at one time to save time and energy. Consider creating pages out of different types of paper: grid, lined and blank. This will provide you the most versatility as you begin mapping out months ahead.

2. Create decorative embellishments for your planner using the Arrow Thick Materials punches. These arrows can be used to draw specific attention to events that you want to highlight on your calendar. The thick materials punch allows you to cut several sheets of cardstock at once, giving you more embellishments with minimal effort.

4. The 8" Amplify® Mixed Media Shears can be used to trim photos or stickers to personalize the look of the planner. Mix and match shapes with punches to add dimension and personalization. These shears make trimming simple, with crisp and clean cuts each time.

5. Use heavy-weight chalk cardstock in the thick materials punches to create unique accents or bookmarks to the pages. This chalk cardstock allows for personalized or handwritten details within the planner.

6. Use removable adhesive on your embellishments to remove and adhere again throughout the year.

To make the altered clipboard

Keep to-do lists, coupons or notes easily with an altered clipboard. Hang this in a common area, such as a family command center for your office to keep these little things top of mind.

1. Paint a clipboard with chalk paint or cover with chalk cardstock cut to size using the paper trimmer.

2. Wrap twine around the clipboard and secure at the back with tape or an adhesive. Trim the excess twine using your Amplify shears.
